the modified bear
a very prevalent symbol in a lot of kid a era artwork and generally seen as radiohead's logo period. apparently they are polar bears that have been genetically modified, or something of the sort..
kid a mnesia exhibition
kid a mnesia is a videogame, released 2021, sort of turning the world this artwork builds into something tangible. it is a beautiful experience i think is much better played than described. it is free of charge.
crying minotaur
another radiohead "symbol" or perhaps mascot, depicting a sort of imp-like minotaur crying. this figure is very prevalent in amnesiac era artwork, including on its cover. i like to think of them as a species.
onyx minotaur
another depiction of the minotaur in radiohead artwork. this variation is a bit more gangly and perhaps "true" to what is depicted in ancient greek mythology. he is also depicted crying most of the time; you play as him in kid a mnesia exhibition. he is my wife
minogotchi
another godforsaken minotaur. i certainly don't mind myself. minogotchi is very sparse in radiohead artwork; there is only really one drawing of it and it is featured in kid a mnesia exhibition. it is the most bull-like of them all; ginormous, and inhuman.
motion picture house
something i find very hard not to begin ranting excitedly about. motion picture house is an exhibition and or movie screening across the U.S currently, focused on kid a/mnesia era artwork. i see it may 31st and it will heal me spiritually most likely
how i found them
i was played radiohead in the womb. my parents raised me on that type of music, so it's not much of a question where i found radiohead. i think i became infatuated with them about 3 years ago specifically..
